A quick photo from Day 1 of the National Stationery Show. My booth is all set up with my yellow walls, new logo and lots of greeting cards and paper goods. Met a lot of great people and shop owners so far! If you’re heading to the Javits this week, stop by and say […]
One more preview and I’m off to the National Stationery Show! This is a page from my new catalog. Lots of pretty images and patterns. One of my favorite new designs this year, this one is called Rock. This is for telling the person you love most in the world how much they mean […]
My wholesale catalogs are in! They’ll be available in booth #2154 at the National Stationery Show.
The Brighter Place Catalog is the first with my new logo and refreshed brand. I have been focusing on hand lettering, more lush, intricate patterns in my designs and blank cards intended for boutiques. My birthday line is […]
Let’s get together and talk about paper! This is the invitation to my National Stationery Show booth #2154. I was able to send out close to 100 this year. This is the same size and paper stock as my new Get-Togethers collection that was designed to connect people + paper. Each design […]
I was going to wait until it was painted and finished – but I can’t wait any longer! I had a wooden sign cut by my friends at Contour Woodworks inc. Anton took my logo, threw it into this complicated program that tells a robot of a machine to cut […]
The 4th card in my series of Classic Kitchen appliances. I’ve had this coffeepot for years. It started leaking (just a little and only sometimes) so it had a plate under it for the last couple months. My mother-in-law just bought me a fancy, wonderful coffee maker that has the coffee magically inside and […]
Another one in the Classic Kitchen series – a mixer card. I did some mixer research and had some help from some mixer-lovers. Thank you Sandy, Lorenz and Catrina! These appliances plug in on the back of the card and have a cute extended scene on the back.
I’ve really fallen in love with […]
I could probably eat ice cream every day. If I invite people to go with me, then it’s ok…
Part of my new Get-Together series of skinny flat notes. There is space to write a short note on the front and lots of space on the back.
This card will be debuting at the […]
This is another one from my new Get-Together series of skinny flat notecards. They come 8 in a pack so you can get together with 8 dog-lovers. Don’t worry, there is also a cat one! No long story behind this one, just inspired by how long I can talk about my cats for.. and […]
My Japanese mom had this old rice cooker she used while I was growing up. It has always made perfect rice and the ding announces when dinner is ready. When I went off to college, she decided to upgrade and I dragged it to my dorms with heavy bags of Japanese rice. I […]
Brunch and dessert both have to be in the top 10 of my favorite things. These are part of a new series of skinny flat notes that I made. They have space on the front and back to write and come with a mint envelope. All of my NSS previews can be seen in […]
Just a little preview of my new notepads debuting at the National Stationery Show in May. It’s less than a month away and I’m busy getting all of my new products ready to display! There are 6 new illustrated notepads. These two are for the Daily Adventure and I […]
I signed up for NSS 2014! Super excited and bursting with ideas on how to improve my booth, designs and approach to next year’s show. It’s also a big investment dream of mine to exhibit at NYNOW one year – which is more of a gift show. I’m working on some gift items […]
I’m back from the National Stationery Show – physically and mentally (I think). It was a whirlwind of meeting new people, taking in all the excitement, being inspired by all the artists, and paper, paper, paper!
Since then, I’ve been busy scoring and folding cards for orders (see […]
Just wanted to post a couple quick photos from my booth on my way to Day 3 at the National Stationery Show. Here is our popular Happily Ever After Storybook card.
And here is a quick snapshot of our booth! It has been my dream to exhibit at the NSS and get the […]
Remember the Cat Card Card? Well, now he has a friend… a bunny playing card greeting card! This one is a 4 of clubs because the bunny is looking for 4-leaf clovers always in his garden of carrots.
I think they go well together. I’m […]
The Bunny Haven collection is one of my favorite lines that I’ve created. These bunnies live in a happy little haven and are relaxed and stress-free surrounded by happy colors and gardens of flowers and sprouts.
My favorite one of the series above, Bunny Haven, which I built the […]
I’d like to spend the two weeks before the show sharing some new designs I’ve been working on. I’ve been busy! These two came out really cute I think. What does “You Mean the World to Me” mean when you say it? What does it mean when 2 worlds say it to […]
